Ranmini Vithanagama (PhD, Cmb) - Director

Ranmini Vithanagama has a PhD in economics and is a consultant researcher at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES). She holds a BA (Economics) from the University of Colombo and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Colombo. She is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Her research interests span internal displacement, gender and poverty-related issues, and macroeconomic studies in developing countries. She has worked with Oxford Policy Management, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank as a country researcher and consultant on various assignments related to her research interests. She is also a freelance financial analyst with a special interest in the banking sector.
